Rodrigo is a rising voice within today’s generation of young composers. With two Master´s degrees in Composition of Music for Film, Theater and Television and Composition for Film and Multimedia at the University of Bristol and New York University respectively, Rodrigo now has more than thirty theater plays to his credit, films and documentaries, television shows and commercials, ballet and dance pieces, concert scores, and his music has been performed in several cities of Europe and the American continent.
In 2013, Rodrigo composed the music for Televisa's homage to Roberto Gómez Bolaños and the “El Chavo” franchise. That same year, he also composed the score to the film “Guten Tag, Ramón” (Beanca Films), directed by Jorge Ramírez Suárez, distributed in Mexico, Germany, the U.S. And Latin America by 20th Century Fox, to be released in Mexico on August 21st, 2014. The score was performed by the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra SIF309, and it was recorded and mixed by Nick Wollage at SIF309 in Sofia, Bulgaria and AIR Studios in London, UK respectively.
