In 2013, Rodrigo composed the music for Televisa's homage to Roberto Gómez Bolaños and the El Chavo franchise. That same year, he also composed the score to the film Guten Tag, Ramón (Beanca Films), directed by Jorge Ramírez-Suárez, distributed by 20th Century Fox in Mexico, Germany, the U.S. And Latin America, where it has been acclaimed both by critics and audiences alike. The score was performed by the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra SIF309, and it was recorded and mixed by Nick Wollage at SIF309 in Sofia, Bulgaria and at AIR Studios in London, UK respectively. Winner of the Silver Goddess for Best Original Score (the equivalent of the Golden Globes in Mexico) and nominated for Best Score in the Drama category at the Reel Music Awards 2014.
